Mark is a filmmaker and artist who lives with his wife, daughter and son in Finksburg, Maryland, just outside of Baltimore. His last film, a feature
documentary called Ofir, won multiple awards as it toured festivals around
the world. A graduate of the NYU film program, Mark's thesis
was an animated film. As he taught himself how to animate,
Mark discovered that he thoroughly enjoyed creating posters
out of paper using x-acto knives, pencils, pens and double-
sided tape.
Mark was born and raised in Houston, Texas.
He received a BA in English Literature from
Washington & Lee University and an MFA
in Film Production/Direction from
New York University.
